had a customer phone up and enquire about the cost of changing the “black plastic fan” on his TD.as it’s a round trip of about 70 miles and i havent done one of these before i’d like to go and get it done in one trip if poss.
    are they fairly straight forward?
any tips would be appreciated, what do you recon 30 mins for doing the job, or is it a bit of a beast
connect only list a fan wheel kit part no. 481231018991, which is a special order, is this the chappie?
    thanks in advance.

    Hi
It is a strip down but pretty straightforward.
All done from the rear and drum out.
The fan is in the (looking from the back) the l/h/s base manifold attached to motor shaft. Remove manifold cover then motor and thats basically it then.
