Problems with my Bosch KGU3201 GB/01.Changed the main PCB but freezer still only getting down to about 5C.This is an improvement as both were not getting below 7C before but fridge now works correctly at 3C.Compressor seems to be working fine as rear heat sink is warm.Super freeze has no effect.Any ideas?

    Hi
Do you have part number of PCB you have changed and original fault that led you to main PCB replacement 🙂

Part number replacement is 263782.Original fault was that freezer would only get to around +5C and fridge was just below this at its operating temp. of +4C but somewhat erratic as it may go up to around +7C.

    Hi
You say that the fridge is ok now, thats one out of the equation.
You may have a defrost problem in the freezer if you are still fighting with temps in there. Behind the rear panel in the freezer cavity, there should not be a build up of thick ice on the evaporator pipework (looks like a car radiator), there should be a clear path trough the pipework.
Unplug appliance if you are to investigate :plug:

Defrosted overnight then restarted.Everthing cooled nicely and fridge soon at +4C.Freezer however only reached around -2C at best. With Superfreeze on no difference, compressor is working continuously but the heat sink at the rear is not always warm.Looked at the evaporator in freezer compartment and there is light frosting of the pipes but evaporator itself is clear and not very cold.

    Hi
It does sound to me to like a system fault. Engineer time Im afraid.
Please feel free to use the link below, to find one.
