ModeratorBloody server, typed all this lot out once, hit Submit and it timed out without posting. 👿

Initial complaint of no heat on washer or dryer, customer thought they used same heater.
Both sets of elements and stats are OK. Pump works fine, hoses to pressure switches appear clear. I can get a live feed to the water heater but no return. The dryer heater is in fact working, but is not drying because the fan is not running, the fan motor is sound.
She thinks she has seen a very occasional E20 but presses the green start button and it clears. In diagnostics mode the last error was a door lock/not closed error.
Anything I should be concentrating on? 😕
Jim.
PS. The second time I tried to post I got the usual delay then it pitched up on My Account page. 😥 Third attempt before it worked.

Just in case it means anything to the Zanussi experts out there, I forgot to mention that at one stage EE0 flashed up on the display. 😕

Open circuit valve coil to condenser will give rise to same symptom. 😉
E20 being a bit of a ‘red herring’ here from your customer I suspect ❗
P.S. The server is a right pain lately (it takes me flippin hours of extra time trying to help folks out here just because of it! :rolls: )
But fear not, the new server is (and I quote) “imminent”. 😀

Will that stop the water heater from working as well.?November 9, 2006 at 2:30 pm #193847iadom

Went back to this one today as customer has been away. Set on diagnostics mode 5 and heater came on, raised temp to 40° on display which then aborted to E61. I had already checked everything related to E61 that I could so checked condensor valve solenoid and it was OC. Fitted new one and both faults are now cured.
Thanks Martin.
