    So I have the above Dishwasher which I attended a service call a week or so back. Customer told me that It wasn’t heating up, so I did the usual checks and diagnosed it with a faulty module. Customer ordered the PCB direct from BSH Appliance Care as Connect distribution had no stock. I was called back to fit the PCB and to my relief my diagnosis was correct as we now have heat in the cycle. However, we have a quick wash program that displays 138mins which should be aprox 30′. There is a conversion which comes with this PCB but I didn’t think I needed to use it as it’s a like for like fit, but perhaps the PCB may need setting up. The information that comes with this suggests that: “incase of an equivalent controll the wire at the module (terminal clamp 5) of appliances up to KI12 must be cut through and be fitted to the enclosed double terminal at the wire (terminal clamp 7).”
    Then follows another Procedure:
    “After the modification the special circulating pump controll (sicasym) of appliances up to Ki12 must be switched off as follows:

    G-controll, with 7-segment display
    S4 + S5 must be pushed and kept pushed down and the appliance must be switched on with HS.
    Display1 = with Sicasym
    Display0 = without Sicasym
    Change over with S4
    Store with HS off

    Then there is another procedure for what would appear to be a different type of PCB without 7 segment display.
    There is an illustration that indicates S4 & S5 as the switch buttons on the pcb, there is nothing to explain what ‘HS’ is…..
    Im lothed to start cutting into the wiring loom to fit this connector as it really doesn’t make any sence to me, and with 17 years experience repairing domestic appliances without many problems I have to say i’m between a rock and a hard place on this one!!!
    Any Ideas Chaps?

    Thank you!

    No need to fit that plug/mod or cur any wires . Ki12 is referring to the /** that appears after the main ENr number and in your case , as its /42 , its not required.

    As to the timings , my guess is that either you havn’t programmed it for your model or its been incorrectly programmed .

    Was there a coding sheet in the box with the new module ?

    HS means ‘Hauptshalter’ or in English ‘On/Off Switch’ but ignore all that it says on that sheet use the Coding Sheet instead which illustrates the model and the relevant buttons to press in order to configure it correctly. If you haven’t got the Coding Sheet then give me your email address and I’ll send you a copy.

    Please note: The module cannot be configured whilst it is located in the fascia as you cannot access the end button (shown as S5 in the picture).:wink:
