    Hi

Does anyone have a view on Miele’s honeycomb drum in a tumble dryer?

The inside face of drum is lots of hexagonal depressions with a hole in the middle, out of which comes the hot air. The idea is that the clothes are surrounded by the air and float rather than sticking to the sides, thus getting dried quicker and more gently. They have it on most of their range now.

Sounds clever but does it work better than a standard drum?

    All opinions appreciated.

……For blinkin years and years and to add, the honeycomb drum has won award in Germany and will allow you to spin clothing at higher speed without the fabric being damaged ie tiny holes fabric will not be pulled through by centrifugal force hence zero damage.
Lets not pick on Miele, as P45 said, it will work why bother worrying or even trying to find faults (there are none except they are heavy and expensive 😀 )

Our customers love them, quality , build and performance is second to none. Once a Miele customer always a Miele customer. The guarantees are second to none as well, from three to ten years depending on model purchased.
