I have a wierd problem with this in that sometimes the top arm is working and the bottom isn’t and at other times the bottom is but the top isn’t ?.

I can see this by quickly opening the door when its running.

Both arms are totally clean etc.

I see in the bottom of the machine there are two separarte “ports” that feed each arm separately so I’m guessing there is a valve or something down there that is not working properly or getting stuck ?

    Help !

Hold on a second… are the dishes coming out clean?
If so, there is nothing to worry about, as some machines do indeed have a switchable valve which diverts water to each arm alternately. The time for each arm is about a couple of minutes, then the valve flips and the other arm starts spraying.

On the other hand, if dishes in one basket come out dirty, then there could indeed be a sticky valve.

Sorry, my post was a bit dumb ….

Yep, the problem is that sometimes the things on the top shelf are dirty and sometimes the things on the bottom shelf are dirty, so it sounds exactly like your suggestion that the valve is sticking is about right. Its pretty random ….

Are we talking big-bucks to get this thing fixed ?

Not BIG money, but you will need the heater/valve assembly. Model number required to identify and price up. It’s usually engraved on the top edge of the inner door panel.
