AEG Lavamat 86800 – Clock/Time error + ‘Draining 0 0’ error

I started having a fault with this washer only when using the Linen/Easy cares programme at 60 degrees. It stopped after washing saying : ‘Draining 0 0’. It hadn’t drained, rinsed or spun but did so when I set these actions separately on the machine. I’ve checked the drain pump and it’s fine. I’ve noticed the program runs fine though when I switch to liquid detergent rather than powder tablets. Now though I’ve found the time isn’t remaining set after each 24 hour period. The small arrow for the current time still flashes after following the set-up for the clock. The time is correct up until the next day when I find it returns to the default midday- 12.00 setting. Any ideas on these problems? Does it sound like an electronic rather than a mechanical fault as the first problem does only occur on that one program and the washing aspect does work fine on all other programmes?
