The detergent dispenser flap won’t open on my Ariston LV62 Integrated dishwasher…(again).
There’s nothing blocking the flap (as was before), & the machine seems to be getting up to temperature & completes the full cycle. I may be wrong, but the little spring loaded catch which operates the flap seems a little stiffer than it was before. Any ideas of what might be wrong & parts availability & prices please?
If it needs a new dispenser unit is this something that’s relatively easy to fix myself ?

The dispenser can stiffen up with water ingress over time. You should hear the solenoid buzzing when activated – no noise = dead solenoid. No individual components, complete dispenser unit is C00075468. eMail to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk for prices and ordering.
Fitting involves removing the door outer panel – be very careful; you can shave with the exposed edges of the door panel.
Power off, of course.
