    Bosch WFD 2460 Washing Machine – Purchased feb 2002

    Hi everyone, new to this forum, had a look and there is LOADS of information 8)

    BUT have searched for the last half hour to no avail…. please forgive me if the info was here all along :rolls:

    Im after the Bosch flashing-type fault code ‘list’… My machine has 3 vertical lights which flash in various combinations to indicate different faults. Simply want to know what fault the different combo’s indicate!

    Currently got top/middle flashing together.

    Do you have a specific combination of lamps that flash so we can aid you further 🙂
    We cannot give out the full fault code sequence due to copyright, sorry.

    Hi Greg, thanks for the quick reply…

    About half-way thourough the cycle, the machine has stoppped.

    There are 3 vertical red lights (wash/rinse/spin)

    The top 2 (rinse/spin) are flashing together.

    I think its possibly a pump fault. Have replaced the pump before on this machine… just not looking foreward to having it apart again so simnply would like a bit of pre-warn so i KNOW what it is before i give it some tools 🙂

    Hi Scratch
    Looks like you have drain problem ie taking longer than 6 minutes.
    Check the filter and your drain hose termination for blockage.

    Thanks for you help greg…

    Drained it out today, water had the most VILE eggy smell ever :eeek:

    Pump was blocked by some lumps of conjealed powder… and a zip tie. Must remind the missus to check my pockets before washing my clothes 😉

    Hi scratch
    You can also tell her to do a maintanence wash on a monthly basis ie- using a quality powder or tablet (not liquid) put the machine on the hottest wash it will do with no clothing in, just the detergent.
