ModeratorStrange that this has not been asked of me before. Just installed an ISE this afternoon, as always I instruct the customer to phone ISE HQ if any faults occur ( even though 95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of them still phone me ) but to always contact me direct for any questions on usage etc. This customer has just phoned me because like most people she tends to use just 2 or 3 programmes. She wants to know were is the 50° wash. Apparently this is one that she uses a lot. Now I have looked at the reprinted manual and I cannot find one. What should we advise, 60° or 40° synthetics 😕

The silence is deafening, what does a customer with her ‘wash at 50°’ washing do. I thought about suggesting a synthetics 60° using Quick Wash but you cannot select Quick Wash with synthetics. At the moment I have advised her to do a 40° synthetics wash but I would appreciate a definative answer to the lack of a 50° wash programme.

Hi Jim,
Sorry been more than a little distracted today. Yes 40 degree wash should do the trick and use pre wash if heavily soiled.

Hi Sean, thanks for reply, so there is no way of doing a 50° wash then?
On the programmes that Quick Wash can be used, how does it reduce the time, by cutting out a rinse, reducing temp or both.
Is the Prewash done in cold only or does it heat to the same temp as the selected wash?

Numbers logged. 🙂
She seemed quite happy with my suggestions, I have asked her to let me know in a couple of weeks just how the machine has performed on these items.

Not sure that Mrs Mears would take kindly to the LOL label, she is under 50, I may tell her the next time I speak to her, giving her your full details at the same time of course. 😆

Correct. There is no longer a 50c Care label.

As they say in marketing speak 40 is the new 50 😯 You will see by the adverts on the telly the big push is for lower temp washing it’s only a matter of time before 30 will be sold as the new 40, in fact its already happening.
