ParticipantHi folks, we have an integrated dishwasher that has developed a problem!
The machine powers up fine but the programme selector is as dead as a dodo.
We have already called out an engineer and he’s replaced the control panel & programme switch but still no luck!
I just thought it would be worth asking if there’s anything else we should check before we remove the machine from the units? Thanks, Kevin.

KeymasterIt’s a Haier Chinese made machine. 🙁
We hate them.
In all honesty it’s pot luck with these things as to where the fault lies, consider the “lucky dip” in fault finding.
Is it coming up with any error codes at all or just stone dead?
K.

Hi there and thanks for the reply!
No error codes came up, even after the control panel had been replaced.
We got the machine out from the units and the engineer has had it in his work shop for about a week now, no news yet if he’s got it going!Time to do some measuring up for a new machine I reckon! 🙂

Long term, a wise decision – there is far superior product available. Given the sheer hassle and aggravation of replacing a built in machine, set a reasonable budget and get something decent. Whirlpool and SMEG are good, Bosch/Siemens/Neff is better. Buy a Miele and we won’t have to talk dishwashers for a long time!

I have come accross this fault a few times now and its terminal. The stainless tank developes a leak, water runs onto the main wash pump causing an earth fault. This causes the electronic conrol module not to display any kind of life.
Diplomat, Kenwood, Stoves and Beko are selling these branded dishwashers so if buying one try and find the data plate for country of manufacture. If made in China avoid like the plauge. -
