    Hi, I’d be grateful for help with my Whirlpool ADP7966 please.

    It stopped during a wash and now the power light is permanently flashing (flashes twice in a second, off for a second, then repeats).

    I’ve tried holding the button down and it then comes on for about 30s but then reverts to failure mode. I’ve also tried cleaning the filter again which didn’t help.

    Any ideas please?

    Hi Dave
    With the appliance un-plugged, I would be looking for water in the drip tray which is below main wash tank.
    Remove the water, re try and locate leak. If no water present there, you may have a faulty float switch,water indicater or module/PCB.

    Just a quickie, be very careful of sharpness of front of drip tray when front panel removed, its like a razor and I don’t mean the mobile 🙂
    Best put some insulating tape on it 😉

    Thanks Greg I’ll watch out for that. There is water in the drip tray so just about to drain it.
