    AEG OKO Favorit 5450. Machine stops mid cycle but will continue if knob turned. Everything else seems to be working. Any suggestions would be very grateful.

    Sorry for the long delay in replying but I have been away for a while 😛
    In answer to your question – No not completely. If the dial is moved on it continues…but has missed that part of the cycle.

    This may surprise you slightly, but your machine is a Zanussi in a posh frock. Have a read of this:

    Surpisingly regular problem – yours is the blue tubes machine.

    Otherwise, no heat (give it some time, then open the door – steam is good) or broken wiring where the door hinges are the regular problems.

    Stay safe, power off if investigating.

    Well it’s way past Feb :rolls: Anyway I finally got to my parents dishwasher and your instructions worked. Everything going as it should do. Ended up attaching the bottom pipe which took longer to get to than the cleaning.
