    hallo all had two of these horrible belts to change in one week.identical belts ie hpt 1560w,managed to get on but what a lash up,why change creda early style with two jockeys.anyone worked out a way of doing without getting a hernia,thanks richard. 😕

    The vented one is a doddle, with the correct tool, goatboy uploaded a picture of that some time ago. The condensor one is a little more difficult.

    So whats the tool like? If I have one to fit I put it in the foot-well of the van & put the heater on [a bit of a bugger in summer] & go on to the customers, by then it’s a bit more flexy, put one end under me boot ,grab t’other end then do me best Charles Atlas impression , then curse as put the belt on ,but it seems to work. What concerns me is with that kind of tension on the belt how long are the drum bearings going to last?

    We already know the answer to that, rear bearings are failing for fun, even wearing through the later bronze type with ease. 😥
