Initial problem was machine stopped mid-rinse with pause light flashing. I siphoned it empty & took out the interlock switch but left it connected. With the door shut & the switch on the top, the machine restarted, so I reassembled it. Worked OK for one wash & returned to original. Whatever program is selected, machine will not come off pause. I have rechecked the interlock and the solenoid inside does not appear to operate, but the bi-metal lock does. There is mains at 3 of the 4 connectors to the switch. My 1st thought is to change the interlock, but I’m not convinced it will solve the problem. Part of the control board has sooty traces on some of the tracks, but I don’t think there are any burnt-out components. Any ideas, before I open the wallet?

I’d go for the interlock first, but then I’d have one on the van to check it with. 😕

Other than that, you’re right, it does sound PCB related if the lock is okay. 🙁
