    Is the end cap assembly or overload housing on motor number 141344 available as a separate spare? Overload has popped with brushes going but all I can find is the motor available?

    No end frame is listed for this motor, I always use end frame from earlier model without any problems.

    As sparkey said, no end cap shown on this motor.
    Im interested in sparkeys repair as it would save throwing a perfectly good motor for the sake of an end cap 😀

    Qualtex TOC17 and five minutes with the soldering iron does it for me………

    Does the Hotpoint one do the trick then. That’ll save ’em a good few bob…..next time 😥

    I don’t believe the modern replacement endcap/brush units that take the 144740 carbons (496872 & 496876) have TOC’s fitted on them do they?

    (Half the reason that modules are stuffed when the motor goes belly up I reckon!)
