3 days ago my 4 year old SANTO fridge/freezer started making what i can only describe as a slow heavy whiring (or loud breathing) noise thats not like any of the normal sounds it usually make.
I tried switching it off and on again but this didnt help.
Does anyone know the cause and remedy – or should i get a professional to look at it ?
It’s probably normal TBH and may just be the gas rushing about the system. To cure the noise, or at least try to, would involve a regass which will cost the best part of £100 and isn’t guaranteed to work. 😕
