    Hi
    Has anyone the fault codes on this slimline model. Can’t find them on the usual thread. I’m getting the first three lights flashing with fifth constant after initial fill. Appliance code is 8545 856 15600.
    Re-checked error code thread, nearest match I can find is a smeg.

    Bit of wierd history to this. Smeg machine made for Whirlpool supplied to Ikea. 😕 At least I think that’s how it goes 😕
    Anyways, Smeg error codes for this one.

    Not quite sure what this refers to (E7 – 1st, 2nd, 3rd flashing – flow meter detected when not fitted – reset required. ) and how to reset this one.

    Okay……….. You gotta be quick to make it work………

    Switch on, and within 3 seconds, press the programme button 4 times. Lamps 1 + 5 should light – switch off, count to 10, switch on and run the rinse programme only.

    If that really won’t work, tell the customer to sit down whilst you tell her how much a new board costs……….
