Hello Jez, welcome aboard. You’ll find that most of us hate Indesits, full stop. Don’t worry about being a noob, we all were once. Pop down to Stores for a long stand, will you? Oh and Iadom’ll probably want a tin of tartan paint while you’re at it. 😀

Did you check the channels under the machine, especially around the float cut-off? Damn things gradually fluff up.

    Cheers,
    Chris.

The pump at the back (askol) was full of hair, Thus the float switch was turning the heat off when the reservoir was full and indicating the water bottle needs emptying, Cleaned and all was ok

I’ve got a glass hammer & two buckets of steam if anybody wants them. 😆

Sad to say this is not an Indesit in a skirt, deep inside its rapidly diminishing gene pool are the remnants of a Creda, first corrupted by an unhappy liason with Hotpoint, then dragged right down into the gutter by Indesit. 😥

Just been to a Hotpoint WF washer in a hairdressers today, second time in less than ten weeks to pull all the hair out of the sump filter.

    Jim.
