ParticipantHi All
Called to the above beast today, One of the ones with a plastic base in the tub and the famous mushroom. Fault was: No lights showing on the display, But drain pump running continually and a small jet of water coming from the lower left hand side of the tub and hitting the lower spray arm. This model has the mushroom and the slot under the filter for the magnetic float but no float!. Checked on the BHS site, but is shows no float for this model. Moving the mushroom made no difference, So Iam a bit stumped at to what the fault is The machine is fitted into a seriously bespoke kitchen. Looks like very old light oak complete with wood worm holes 😕 I told cust that I may have to remove the machine, And would require the plinths to be removed, She stated that she would have one of her men remove the plinths before I returned :rolls:, Mind you she owns a very nice country hotel, And the machine is situated in the original Lodge of the old house. Very Nice.Goose

Hi
The newer models that use the mushroom float have now done away with the little “bullett” float in the recess in the sump area.
I would start by looking in the base for any water ingress, failing that I would be looking at a module failure. Worth checking the edge connectors for damage also.Greg

Cheers Greg
Looks like I will have to return to this job, Once Madams men have removed the bespoke plinths :wobble: Will have a look at leaking/ flooding, But from what I have read in searches looks like a PCB fault and after the modifed boards have been fitted the only means of water level control is the PCB, With the mushroom as a fail safe. Looking forward to this one. NotGoose

They use a flow meter now to regulate the amount of water, rather than the float, which kept bloody jamming and flooding 😈
