customer says machine runs ok for 2 weeks then dies mid program no lights nothing turns it off resets it. ok for next few weeks any ideas?

Probably the edge connector and plug on the user interface (facia) PCB. They often suffer with loose or dirty connections causing intermittent failure.
Take out the PCB, clean the connection contacts on the board and gently squeeze the edge connector plug with pliers to tighten it and refit. That should sort it!! 8)Steve.
