ParticipantBlomberg 1305ABB (bar code number) 0020500400110738 128110738.
Both timer and interlock needed for this machine. Nothing on Connections at all. 🙁
Timer is an AKO unit (timer and PCB together) The interlock has blown its supply tracks on the timer. Who supplies parts for these machines? Any information (especially prices) would be appreciated.
Apart from the failed timer and interlock, this 6 year old machine is suprisingly well made; a build quality you would expect to find in old AEG/ Bosch machines. Who actually makes Blomberg? Thanks in advance,
Steve.

It’s made by Brandt. The common door lock (cable release from above) is p/no 55X3636. I can find no reference to the specific model number anywhere……
I’ve seen a few where the tracks have blown off the timer board – I have soldered them back in and usually got away with it.

Both parts are in stock, £73.50 for the timer and £15.94 for the lock @ Masterpart. Andy

Thanks, everyone!! 😀
Sorted the problem – soldered the tracks back onto the timer, dried out the door interlock ( 😕 ) and hey presto!! It lives!!
No obvious reason found for the water ingress – so I asked the customer. “Well, I didn’t think there was enough powder in the wash, so I added some extra in the soap drawer and washed it down with a saucepan full of hot water. I did spill a bit down the front and on the floor – Sorry, I forgot to mention that…..didn’t I?” 😯Hmmmm…… :rolls:

The lock is straight under the soap drawer? What do you think happened 😀 ? Change the lock at least……….

Don’t worry, Chris, an interlock is due in today – used a Hotpoint one to test it first then substituted the old one for a trial; just happened to work. It was the perennial “Do we fix it or don’t we” scenario and needed to be proven OK to the customer. It went bang as she was pouring water all over the front of the machine and a cupful in the soap drawer!! The saucepan was the lower part of an old pressure cooker.
And the ‘small’ amount of water – well let’s just say even Noah would have been worried. 😆Thanks for your help!
