Zanussi FS1455 5 beeps then 2

Hi, Guys I recently found my way to UKWG and have really enjoyed reading the posts, but this is my first and I badly need some help with a Zanussi FS1455. It blew the trip and now when switched on it flashes and beeps five times then a pause then 2 beeps and flashes continuosly, the instruction book indicates that 2 beeps – mc, not drained, but no water in mc, anybody know what the initial 5 beeps indicate my instinct suggests a door lock fault, but not sure. any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Dave

sounds like 52, motor tacho.

Dave,

it could be the tacho, motor wiring, motor or module.

Many thanks Alan and Cab, I will not get to the mc, untill Monday so I will let you know how it goe’s. Alan the fault diagnosis and alarm code docs, you sent will no doubt be invaluable. Many thanks for that I could not have hoped for more. Dave.
