    Hi Folks,

I wonder if anybody can help me with the following?

Firstly is it possible to obtain exploded diagrams of Electrolux ovens?

If not, suggestions on the following problem would help please.

The fan at the back of this oven (not the cooling fan situated on top) appears to have stopped working. Having taken the back off and put a meter across the motor connectors it shows 240 volts when control knob turned, so I am assuming that the motor has died. The motor is held on by three bolts but I am unsure how to get to the fan blades so that the motor can be released and taken out of the unit completely.

I notice from inside the oven cavity that there are 4 screws into the back panel of the oven. If I undo these will I have access to the fan blade to release it from the motor shaft, or is there a different way of accessing it?

Undo the nut in the centre of the fan – it may be a left hand thread.
You need fan motor kit 3581913-77/3 – an email to spares@ukwhotegoods.co.uk for prices and ordering.

    Stay safe, power off.

Thanks for your reply but I am still unsure how I get to the nut that holds the fan on. Is it done by taking out the back panel inside the oven cavity?
