Hotpoint FFA91P

I went to this fridge freezer last week with a fault of dead. On checking the electronic board found that there was a hole blown in it the size of a 1p piece. I went back today to fit new board all o.k, customer phones up later to say fridge warm and freezer not cold enough. When i checked it I found that the evaporator fan was not running. No voltage to it and the fridge baffle was shut, when you disconnect the appliance and restart it the fan will run for 10 seconds on self test i think and then stop. The baffle will operate and then stop in the closed position; neither will work again. Have I got a duff board or does anyone know of this fault to cause this? I did not configure the board as it started by itself. Any help will be much appreciated.
