    Help I’m stuck! My washing machine won’t empty (the ‘active’ light is flashing), but the pump cap at the bottom of the machine won’t budge! I just can’t turn it to open it at all!

    Has anyone experienced this problem before or got any ideas how I can turn it without breaking it?!

    Any views greatfully recieved!

    Unfortunately in a case like this the pump has to be removed and dismantled to cure, forcing the filter out will only break it. 😕

    If you need a new pump, the new ones come with a more protruding filter grip for easier unscrewing.
    If you can supply full model number we can sort a part number out for pump if required.
