Anyway, according to todays Daily Mail, Homeserve has sold 575,000 plumbing & heating insurance policies in the last 6 months alone. They didn’t specify how many domestic appliance repairs policies have been taken out, but no doubt they too are on the increase.

Homeserve’s CEO Richard Harpin is about to expand his empire into the USA and Spain in the coming months. Dividends rose 23{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} to 7.5p with BSkyB’s Jon Forsheim joining the British division in January.
