    Hi folks

Went to above cooker last week… oven door not shutting proply.. changed hinges but still not closing proply.. looks like plates that the hinge sits on in the oven unit may have got damaged or bent..

Does anyone know if that plate is removeable and comes as spare part.. there were no obvious fixings from the outside and the oven looked a pig to get out as lead short at back (b@*&^$ kitchen fitters)

Thought I’d ask you guys so I can do job in one go.. or not.. as the case maybe..

    Thanks

Bosch have excellent facility called “quickfinder” on their site where you can find exploded diagrams showing parts/prices/partnumbers etc.

If there are no hinge carriers on it, then the frame is twisted and unrepairable.

Thanks for the pointer to the Bosch web site Mike.. that is a really use full link..

It looks from the exp view that the plate is all part of the frame..

Thanks for all the help both

Maybe we could make a stickey of all the manifactures web sites like this that provied spares and exploded views.. that would be nearly as usefull as the stickey of error codes 💡 🙂

I had this problem very recently with the 096784/096785 hinges, would not quite close after fitting new hinges.
Changed hinges for same again and problem solved.
I guess the hinges had not been tensioned up properly in the factory.
    Hope this helps,
    Mike.
