    Hello

My sister who recently returned from Australia said that a lot of tumble dryers and washing machines were attached to walls with wall brackets to save space. Sounds like a good idea to me.

Are these recommended? If so does anyone know where I can get one of these wall brackets for a WTL6106GB Bosch Tumble dryer.

I know that Bosch sell/used to sell stacking kits (WTZ 1190 or WTZ 1180). Are these any good? Can you stack a Bosch tumble dryer on top of a non-bosch washing machine?

Lots of questions I know, but I’m in the right place to get the answers 🙂

    Cheers

I don’t think there is a wall fixing available specifically for any Bosch machine sold in the UK at least? However the best solution may need a little DIY application using 2 of these: –

Onto those screw a plywood shelf slightly larger than the base area of the appliance, to include a beading ridge to hold the dryer firmly in position! 😉

Not with a Bosch fixing kit no as many other makes vary wildly with a combination of plastic and mdf lids of dubiuos quality 🙁

Almost the right place, it should be in the Washing Machine & dryers Forum really (I will move it there later once you’ve read this) 😉

    Thanks for the tips Martin.

I knew I might have done something wrong when I posted this.

Not come across any wall brackets in the UK for dryers. Sounds like a good idea if space is at a premium, you could always make a shelf to suit. You would need to make it secure so it doesn`t topple over.

The Bosch stack kits are fine. same build as the appliances. If you require one “hit” the spare part link on the home page. Stacking kits produced by the manufacturers are normally for their own appliances as long as the cabinet shape of both appliances is the same. A Google search revealed some “universal” ones. So that could be an option.

I’ve ordered a pair of brackets from screwfix and will try that idea out.

    Thanks again for your help.

    Good man!

Make sure you space them wide enough to accomodate whatever you plan to slide underneath it (i.e a washing machine) as the angled part of the bracket would otherwise get in the way! 😉
