    Hi Folks

    Got a customer who had a new element fitted 6 mths ago and element blown again.. when checked I thought fan not going fast enough hence element blown 6 mths later.. 240v at fan motor and was quite free so me thinks faulty motor…

    Come to order motor and it is described as “reduced speed motor”..

    Hence questions

    Is it pointless ordering a new motor as these motors normally run slow anyway..

    With this type of motor has there been probs with elements over heating and going faulty.. if so is there a mod or does the cust just have to put up with it and risk high element failure? 😕

    Hi yep the fans run very slowly now, acording to the service bulliten- `to reduce noise and make more efficient!` 😯 fitted one today had to double check it was running.
