    Got 2 Hoover sixes in the workshop to overhaul prior to reselling. Both have the same problem, No pump action. Checked both machines and found triac tr5 on board to be blown. What causes this and will a s/ex module cure the problem?

    Normally water leaks from the breather tube onto pump which in turn blows triac on module.
