The freezer is the frost free version and seems to work fine other than having an annoying problem. Water is obviously leaking into the drawers (runs down the back of the inside wall of the freezer), forms a small puddle and then freezes. Not the end of the world I know, but I guess it’s not supposed to do this!!
I have emptied and de-frosted a couple of times but the ‘fault’ returns a short time later. Anyone any ideas pls…?
Re: AEG OKO ARCTIS 2794GA – Frozen Water in Drawers
No it’s not normal or right.
There should be a rating plate in the fridge, usually at the crisper drawers, if you can give us the full model number and PNC I (or someone) may be able to help a bit more as the 2794GA model doesn’t come up. 😕
Re: AEG OKO ARCTIS 2794GA – Frozen Water in Drawers
Sounds like its either a blocked defrost drain or the drain heater has failed.
Either way its a very fiddly job and it will need to be completely defrosted before any repair is attempted, I would suggest you call an engineer for this one.
Re: AEG OKO ARCTIS 2794GA – Frozen Water in Drawers
The last guy who came out said to defrost it and it should sort itself out……a few weeks later, back to square one!! Anyone know how to check the deforst drain or whether the heater is working…?
