    Hi there,

I have a Diplomat ADP5701 oven and it simply won’t heat. The fan, lights and the electric lighter are all working. Any ideas what might be wrong with it?

Christmas is coming and I’ve no oven to cook Christmas dinner on! Please help!

It’s probably the fan element that has failed, quite a straightforward repair in general.

An engineer can be found from the repairs@ link below or if you need to source the part yourself an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk please 🙂

Power off if cheking yourself :zap:

    Dave.

    Hi Dave,

yes, that emoticon was rather expressive 😆

Is there a chance for something else to be wrong with it? I mean everything seems to be working (including the fan) apart from the fact that it doesn’t heat up. I’ve pulled it out and looked in the back but didn’t go as far as removing the back grille.

How could I make sure that that it’s the fan element before ordering a replacement part?

    Cheers, Gerhard.

Remove the back inner panel – often there is visible damage to the element. If there is no obvious damage, the element must be tested with a meter. If you can’t do this, you must get professional help.

    Power off at all times………
