    If you like me have trouble in displaying the full screen on a laptop that is in wide screen aspect ratio, there is a fix for this, from jvf.co.uk, the suppliers of the software. The fix works very well. If anyone has problems getting fix from info@jvf.co.uk, then I can foward on details. Hope this is of help to someone.

    Brilliant, it has always annoyed me on my W/S lappy. The left hand pane displays correctly but the bottom box in the right hand pane has half of it missing and there are no scroll bars to move the lists up.

    With a 17″ widescreen I have the same bother can you forward the details of the fix please. 🙂

    Cloudhands, when you say you can forward on details, do you mean send our details to someone at jvf, or send us the details of the fix 😕

    If it is the latter then please do ASAP.

    Thanks for that Jim, just need to run a few tests on it first, ZoneAlarm Pro has flagged it as suspicious, Command AV has given it a clean bill of health though. It contains a Zip file that has a .LNK file inside it. The .LNK file is known to be very easily infected/corrupted so I will tread warily, might wait until the guinea pig you sent a copy to has had a go. 😉 😆

    It works. 8) 😀

    The file that Flyman sent me was kosher but it had two important elements missing, the shortcut file and the installation instructions. This evening I received an e-mail from Chris Fray at jvf software. This included the full fix including desktop shortcut and installation instructions. It worked a treat.

    If anyone wants it I have the full fix plus instructions. This will only work for version 7 of Partfinder, some alterations are in place for version 8.

    Jim what do you mean version 7 and version 8? Mine is version 2.1

    Partfinder II, issue seven. 🙂 The chap from jvf called it version 7/8, guess he meant issue.
