    Hi

I have reluctantly agreed to look at a friend’s machine.

On yurning on the machine he heard a bang from what he tells me, came for the right hand side, which would be on the programmer side of the Machine. All the lights went off and the machine is now dead.

Inside the machine, everything looks O.K. and the machine appears to have a feed to the front panel.

I am sumising that it is the small programmer that has packed up, although no sign of damage.

    Any ideas.

    Thanks – Joe

There are a number of things that blow the (£75+) control board, common ones are the motor, the door lock & wiring chafed on the lower concrete balance weight. If this machine is under 5 years old it is still covered by the manufacturers parts warranty, you would only have to pay the labour, not cheap at just under £90.00 but it sounds as though the parts alone will be more than this.

    Jim.

PS. would ‘yurning’ be similar to gurning, 😆
