Out of curiosity.Late model with removable tin base. Theres a black plastic unit attached to the heater unit with a timer motor on it what is it for?Whenever I attend a Bosch dishwasher its with a mixture of trepidation and wonder.Sorry I forgot to take model no. as it was only a blocked pump-easy peasy not like some of its brothers and sisters.

Think it is a divertor motor to alternate water between the top and bottom spray arms. 🙂

As a matter of interest, what’s the going rate for doing one of the heater boxs? If you consider the time removing the machine when it’s built in etc. standing on your head in a small kitchen and the good hour to do it 😥

and the good hour to do it Crying or Very sad

Really, I find these a hundred times easier to change.

Just lie them on their back and tin base off, easy 8) .
