Servis tumble dryer problem…On/Off switch…

It is an M2002W model and what happens is that when the on button is pressed the power light comes on briefly (half a second) then goes off. Could the switch be slipping or broken inside or it be a component problem requiring the replacement of the switch (unit/component)/
Would this be easily addressed by myself?.. 😕

Hi we need you to list the serial number of this appliance. It will start 200***** and will be found in the door hole or alternatively on the back. Reason we need this is that there are two different switches fitted to this model dependent on serial.

You did, that it might be the door or on/off switch. I’m asking if it’s easily replaced or mended…thanks for your earlier help…

Was simple on/off switch – contact on spring has come loose and wasn’t staying in contact. Replaced and now fine. Thanks for your help…
