can anyone tell me how to change a belt on this machine without drilling the rivets on the casing please.
there must be an easier way to do this than removing rivets and having to re-do them surely.
and connect are telling me the retail is £40.00 on a belt for this (1910J5) does any one know of a copy available.
thanks.

Hi there,
Ive not fitted a belt on one of these for a long time but if i remember correctly you remove the top and sides, you can then push the drum back from the front bearings sliding the belt from the front, ita a bit tight but i think thats how we used to do them.
Yes, top and sides off as described by MS appliances, but also screws at base of front panel can be loosened to give just a bit more to squeeze the new belt in.
