I had a call to the above machine, When you switch it on at the mains all the lights flash once then the machine remains complete dead. Only switching off and waiting a while will replicate the above otherwise nothing.

There is a slight earth fault, but nothing untoward, which is surprising as the machine has been stored in the gardens under cover for a while.

I have checked through the forums but can’t find any help on this.

    Can anyone help?

Is there a couple buttons jammed in as this will lock out module and you wont be able to do anything until they are freed.

I don’t think there was, I pressed all the buttons to see if I could find any life in the machine, all the buttons felt OK.

I had the same problem after fitting a new board – the lights flashed once then nothing. The board was supplied without the EEPROM. Could the EEPROM on your machine be loose or faulty?

All i know is this machine was stored outside in the garden while the customer was having building work done. once put back in the kitchen it displayed this fault.
My guess is the eprom is shot but I’m not sure.

The modules on these and the Indesit machines are very susceptible to dampness, standing outside, no matter how well covered is not the best way to look after a machine. Have you given the module the Alex Ferguson treatment. 😉 😆

    HI

IF there is a slight earth leakage on theise machines they will not switch on. Try drying the appliance out with the hair dryer first if all earth leakage disapeers and machine dont switch on looks like a module fault assuming you have checked for all the obvious like loose cables where thery go on the user interface board Ect.
