ParticipantHi,can somebody please help. From the day this lady got the machine(not even 2 months ago there has been a problem with it and I can’t figure out what is causing it.
It washes fine until it gets to the rinse cycle, then it gets stuck. It keeps filling with water and the pump runs at the same time.It will keep doing that until you move the dial on and then carry on with the wash as normal.
Presure chamber clear and module and programmer changed, still no diffrence.
Help will be much appreciated.

Must be a cam switch problem within the timer I would think?
I love the name you gave it by the way “Servive”….very good…..what are its chances though eh?…. Will it survive? 😆

If faulty from new i would imagine a wiring or pressure switch fault. Some of the pressure switches can be adjusted.

There is normally a red or white plastic insert which can be turned with a phillips screwdriver. My thinking was that the rinse level part of the switch was incorrectly set and bringing on the safety part of the pressure switch instead. 💡 (If it wasn’t bringing on the pump but just filling all the time it would be a syphoning fault.)

Check the edge connectors. I have seen edge connectors that track between terminals. It’s possible that a short may be supplying both the cold valve and the pump at the same time.
Have you meggared the machine. An earth fault on the heater can cause strange faults.
Have you checked the obvious. It’s not simply syphoning because the drain hose is too far down the standpipe.

Try blowing gently up the p/sw hose. If it’s 2 level you should hear 2 clicks; if you don’t you know there’s a problem with it. I recently opened up a near new Servis p/sw and found the little spring that tensions the contact had somehow become displaced.
