A batch of these [up to date code 8404] which I believe are Smeg built machines suffered from severe vibration and were exchanged by BSH.
Does anyone know if there’s a solution to the vibration problem that’s feasible for us to do, such as getting an additional steel weight manufactured to bolt onto the back of the drum? Ages ago I bought a graded one of these machines, not under warranty, before I knew about the problem and have just got round to investigating it.
