    Can anyone help machine is flashing F05 checked error code thread and nothing is listed.

    Motor brushes duff (will need a new end frame housing I expect?)

    I agree. Also check motor and motor plug and loom continuity from motor to module.
    If all that checks out then I would suspect defective module.

    Just checked it out for you, Yes its motor (brushes), will need an end frame.

    No, it won’t – it’ll need brushes.

    Depends on the FD, the later ones had removable motor brushes, the replacement end frames have removable brushes, but the early ones have fixed brushes.
    Definetly DON’T turn it upside down!! 😯

    Its an ongoing joke, ignore them 😆
    If it is the model with an end cap then what Chris suggested is correct. All you need is those brushes and a soldering iron.
