    I’ve managed to get hold of a new plastic door handle for our dishwasher, but now face the problem of fitting it. The old handle has cracked and is difficult to use.

    Any tips how to fit the new one?

    No I haven’t. I can’t seem to get the remains of the old handle out before even starting to put the new one in.

    Prising the old handle downwards should release the two locking tabs. If it really won’t go, you’ll have to remove the door outer for better access. Power off, if you do.
