Have this PNC 91400209600 s/no 03212961 Which when start pressed door locks and drain pump runs. about 5 secs later a relay click can be heard (Drum rotation?) and the start light flashes and nothing displayed. Does it on spin and 40 degree wash. Metered motor pumps heater inlet valves insulation and continuity ok. No blown tracks/ dryjoints on module.any ideas?

I would take a closer look at the motor? Motor brushes the main suspect as the electronics self-check before beginning a cycle. If the motor is not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} this error can occur?

I thought i was going to fit brushes but no.Dismay at shiny commutator (FHP) detected continuity across armature tacho and two seperate fields. meggered everything passed ok. 🙁
Relay on board coil ok but contacts not? seems to drain but cant remember if drum rotates whilst draining after 5 secs.

Look at heater relay for dirty contacts (for that you have to dismantle it) as Martin said electronic make one self check of its components and status. I do not know what kind of electronic do you have there but perhaps you have to get in test mode (service mode) in order to see its malfunction.
