    Hello all,

Has anybody had a problem with a CANDY CIC 60 leaking more water on the floor than goes in the water reservoir?

I have cleaned out the filter, and as much of the plastic chamber as I can reach, plus blown air through the pipe leading to the reservoir.

Otherwise the machine works perfectly, but as you can imagine it isn’t popular at the moment and the missus doesn’t want a new tumble dryer for Christmas!!

If it can’t be sorted would most likely get a new, vented machine (different location now) and sell this for spares – any offers??

    Thanks in advance,

    Nick

A cause of this is the seal between the inner drum and the bearing plate can fall apart. Thus the moisture leaks out into the shell of the machine and through the bottom grills. If you were to take apart the dryer you would generally find the seal laying in the bottom of the machine. Drum removed through front, many screws, in-depth procedure.

POWER OFF / UNPLUG BEFORE ANYTHING!!!!!!!!
