Have electrue spat the dummy out again.
Logging onto connections online this morning I noticed they have disabled the ‘also fits’ link at the bottom of each part reference. This used to fire up a pop up window that would give a list of all the related model types a certain part would fit. This was a great feature for me that I used all day every day and now its gone.
Looks like I’ll have to fire up my Spareslink thingy again.
Perhaps they no longer want my 8k / month account cause they are to busy selling to the general public.
    Anybody else find this.

Yes it does appear that this facility has been disabled?

Talking about selling to the general public, Called to a job the other day to fit a DW tube heater bought by the customer from Nopoint. Happened to glance at the invoice and it was suspiciously yellow. 😛 Good thing was the customer fitted tthe first heater but didn,t tighten the hose clips enough and flooded the base of the machine which blew the brand new heater. Oh how I laughed 🙂 He asked me to supply and fit another heater and I charged him £60. He returned the faulty part to Connect/Hotpoint who offered to refund the cost of the origiinal if found to be faulty, But I think that that this repair is going to cost him 2 x £40 Plus my £60. I think he has learned his lesson 😆 😆 😆

Ah, that explains problems I had this morning trying to identify a fan oven element for a Belling. It looked as though they had a special element for each different model but in reality it’s probably not quite that bad!
