I called to look at this machine today, It has got me baffled the machine starts as usual with a pump out then fills, circulating pump starts, the machine runs for about five minutes then stops ,program light remains on no fault codes show so I am baffled as to where to start looking, I checked PCB no dry joints also checked door switch and soap dispenser solenoid as I know these can cause wierd things to happen but everything seems ok.
Has anyone got any suggestions please.
    Thanks Bassman

I would say PCB!, I was involved with a Smeg with exactly the same fault, Tried everything except change the PCB due to the high cost. Customer bought a new machine ( Haier 😥 ) which I installed for her and I nicked the board before it was dumped, Just out of interest tried fitting the board to another machine and it had the same fault, So must have been PCB all along But at about £130 its proberly going to be a BER.

went to the same fault just before christmas .you need to reset the pcb as the m/c thinks it has a flow meter fitted.
With the door open turn the appliance on and within three seconds push the program selection button four times.the test prog has been selected if the first(soak)and the fith(strong wash)lights are flashing.once the two outer lights are flashing, press the prog button once to select a version without a flow meter.the soak light should go off leaving the strong light on , turn the m/c off DON`T shut the door wait 30 seconds now test m?c on a soak/prewash .
hope this sorts the prob mike

If it runs for 5 mins I would check for a feed to the circulation pump. They have been known to overheat and cut out after a while.
