    Recently noticed that the top of the freezer wasn’t cooling properly so removed the air circulating fan. Got the motor tested and sure enough it was faulty. Bought a new fan from Bosch but this didnt work either. (tested the new fan but it was OK.)

    Any idea of a reason why the fan might still not be working. Is there a fuse that protects the fan that may have blown when the fan broke down? Is it likely to be a fault on the main PCB?

    (I get a 50V reading from the connector both when the door is open and closed).

    I think you may need an engineer call.These appliances are quite intensive without the service manual.

    The freezer fan will only activate when

    1/ Its not in defrost mode
    2/ Freezer door is closed
    3/ -18 is achieved in freezer compartment after a defrost cycle

    Please use the engineer link below if required 🙂
    There is no need to Live test on any appliance so please refrain from doing so.Its for your own safety. If you need measurements please un plug appliance and continue 😉
