After having some changes in our kitchen, we need to get hold of a new stainless steel chimney cowling for a White Westing House extractor hood. The model is the Levanto 90cm, its part number (of the whole hood) is 200258.

The bit we need is the stainless steel guard that hides the flexible hose that goes from the extractor motor (the top of the extractor chassis) to the exterior vent.

I have had no luck in finding a distributor who can supply a new part.

I believe that this is a white lable product (manufactured by Fox Arredo in Italy) but haven’t had any luck in contacting them either.

Can anyone please help me find a replacement part?

I found a link for the manual on CareMark (gone broke?) here:

    Cheers.

My paw in law upset me with a little story about stainless steel. I had paid £60 for a stainless steel splashback for my cooker – 600mm x 900mm.

He had gone to a local fabricator (SW Scotland) and paid £5 for a 500mm square x 1.5mm gauge stainless steel sheet.

You may have much more luck having the piece fabricated. If it’s a box section, you could find £30 – £40 will easily cover the work required.

    All the best for 2007.
