    Hi guy,s can anyone help machine switches straight on to the 1st light ,bleep,s constantly.and flashes,no set flash sequence, drains for a min then stops, but continues to bleep and flash.

    Can i wish everyone a merry christmas and new year.

    Whirlpool in a skirt – sounds like the classic NTC failure.

    had decided these symptoms were ntc fault the other day. this thread confirmed my suspicions and i’d like to say it was correct.
    thanks for the advice.
    p.s. curiously the multimeter read both the good and faulty one to virtually the same value.

    Funny, isn’t it? I’ve fitted quite a few of these; all the ones removed gave a reading in kOhms. Haven’t had a “dead” one yet.
